Get some Goodyears (~£800) or Vreds (~£650) and stay alive!!

If you really want to save money run on 95 RON, don't change the oil, avoid cambelt services etc - but don't scrimp on rubber!!

im not up on my tyre makes to be honest. Just looking at all the different tyres options and with all this new EU ruling that tyres to be graded/marked with fuel efficent (A-E) / wet weather grip (A-E) and Noiseyness (Db's).

Hubcentrics still on the back of my mind too

Have you used the search function for checking out tyres? I would say every other 6 posts are about tyres
Look no further than Mich (ps2?) or Goodyear asymmetric2.
You can now stop your research on tyres and enjoy porn instead.

Look for R01 designation on the tyres, they're specifically designed for Audi AWD and won't foul el knoblo.

Just remove el knobo and fit which ever tyre you want. There are lots of tyres out there that will fit on the car, sadly most of them don't help it go round the corner.

Goodyear Eagle F1 Assymetric 2 in stock 255/35-19 with "El Knobbo" removed and on DRC. Great wet grip, best I've driven on when the conditions are poor. Dry grip is very good but not quite as good as the best dry tyres but still extremely grippy. Overall a great tyre for the UK's weather.

Mine is sat on Avons. I probably wouldn't have bought them but they feel good in both the wet and the dry. No idea how much they were but I think they were cheapish !
RS6 C5 05 plate very tidy.

have just fitted 255/35/19 P-Zero's all around, the knob had to be cleared, still have a bit of rubbing at full lock against the wheel plastic well(i think), the rim protector on these tyres is too bulky compared to Conti or Michelin.
2004 RS6 by ABT, madly in love with it, RNS-E, ST coilovers, new TC, 19x9x29 RS4 B7 wheels, non-resonated Milltek w/blk tips, TBC....SOLD - but never to be forgotten!
2004 RS6 ebony schwarz, SE exhaust, 19'' rims - SOLD
'09 RS6 C6 - the great white - now, this means business!
