I suspect that if there is an issue with these tyres it's likely the old favourite 'knobby bit' problem, but I've long since dealt with that on my car.
I'd still like to hear from someone who has actually fitted the M01 though, in case there's something else amiss before I go dropping significant funds on fancy tyres!

That's exactly how I feel, it isn't an insignificant amount, if the M01 PS2s fit then I'll be over the moon.

I've seen others have fitted M01s to normal audi with no problems.

Yes. I suspect they will fit OK. Only potential issue is knobbly.

Bit the bullet and ordered them, £140 from openeo which was the cheapest I could find. Will let you know what happens when I try them! Intresting to the know the M01 homoglation is SL65 only

So far even in the most torrential rain they seem fantastic, and in the dry they are truly amazing. I think the weight of the RS6 really suits these tyres, so far I've done about 4000 miles and they still look like new so only time will tell how long they last.

Wanted to bump this back up again as it's looking like it's time for some new shoes for my lady.

What is supposedly the best tyre for these cars now ? I currently have Pirelli P Zero on the car from the previous owner and they are hard as hell. Maybe something to do with them being run flats ?

Michelin pretty much the only real choice ?

Just ordered some PS4S for mine.

They are mind boggling. Forget the other tyres.

Did you get them online and fitted locally ? Or just go to a regular tyre place ? Also, what size did you get ? 255 or 275 ?

Yeah I ahve a local guy who has fitted tyres to my show cars over the years. I'll always go back to him.

Been told by a lad at work today not to bother with the Michelin. Apparently you are paying for a name. He recommends Khumo, which are just as good but half the price

Haha. Sounds like he knows his stuff. Kum Hos are even worse than the Pirelli.

Seems to be about the cheapest I can find. £660.80 delivered. Quite a bit cheaper than expected... :-)
