Any bad comments on these tyres ?
255/35/19/96Y ,
have quote for 500 quid all in for a pair

Am running Vredsteins with H&R suspension and ARB's at the moment , but thinking of changing to possibly soften the ride

Need to be good hot and cold , wet and dry etc

Goodyear F1 assys are in short supply , dont know much about SP5's
...........................????

I think they're great so long as you definitely get the R01 (so they don't rub on the nobble). I've not had anything else on though. They're pretty hard wearing though (last for ages), so I doubt they'll soften the ride.

hard wearing...hmm.....whats the grip like in the wet / cold ?
just seems like the vreds are known for having stiff sidewalls , which can combine with the H&R's to bring a stiffer ride than other tyres ,
have had the vreds for around 9000 miles , and rears are down to 1.8mm so time for new

Absolutely love them. Shocking amount of grip in the wet - almost mind boggling. Get them. You won't regret it. My front have done about 20k miles and are down to about 3 or 4 mm and ready for a change. The rear are still on 5mm.

The only other tyres I'd be tempted to try are the GY F1 Assy and only because mooch raves about them.

I find the ride excellent. I recently had the chance to compare with an RS6 on H&R (on Pirelli PZero), and I found my ride to be noticeably more comfortable while still being extremely grippy on cornering.

PS2's are the best tyre for the RS6, without doubt.

Sounds about right to me. In January I had all 4 of mine replaced and I think they were £254 per corner. That's with the supposed discount for buying all 4 at once :-(

R01? Are you sure? Last time someone put those on, they had to come off straight away because of the knobbly bit.

Never heard of PS3 R01. Heard of AO on the PS3 but they don't fit the RS6.

have sent e-mail to Michelin , their fitter , Event Tyres , agree the PS3 says AO on the tyre , and that they have it as being okay for the c5 rs6 , will see if Michelin confirm this , why cant anything be simple ????
