Very ASMR.

I need one of those long hair wash mitts. And a big microfibre towel like that.

What's he using to blow dry?

Great stuff by the looks of it.
Although i dont know the durability of it.
Anyone over here using or has using it?
Its around 14 euros a bottle.
Or using other "fast" paint protect/polish stuff in a spray bottle which can be applied/wiped easily and would recommend?

Im using collinite at the moment, but this fast paintprotect would be a good product to apply this after a carwash me thinks.
I see collinite has something similar "Mister Collins No. 520 Auto Detailer"

I used to use Stjärnagloss Glaspärla Hyper Beader but it's no longer made.

I replaced it with Demon Shine and it's just as good as far as I can tell. And much cheaper and readily available:

You can probably get a spray bottle, but I buy it in 5 litre bottles and use it in my snow foam lance (diluted).

What a great video, thanks for sharing.

One thing I would say here, and I don’t mean to teach anyone to suck eggs, please remember that this video was a “maintenance” wash. It’s previously had a through decontamination and most importantly clay bared. Applying wax/sprays/detailer without removing all those bonded contaminates will do a lot more harm than good.

Shop, I don’t know what blower he’s using but if you want to try blowing your car after drying (I highly recommend everyone does) you can by something like this as a cheap entry into the process.
https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Electric-Por ... SwUzxc8Wm2

For a drying towel I use this on the car and the smaller one when needed
https://www.in2detailing.co.uk/products ... ying-towel
and this for the wheels
https://www.in2detailing.co.uk/products ... ying-cloth

As for the spray wax I use Auto Finesse quick detailer. It’s probably not the best bead forming spray wax but then I don’t use it for that purpose, I use it as a top up and detailing product. If a car needs waxing then I’ll price to wax it.

Thanks for the tips. Definitely getting one of those blowers. And the towels.

Any suggestions for a decent wash mitt?

Thanks for the fix Shop. 👍

Regarding wash mitts, the most important thing you need to remember is that this is the first point of contact you’ll have with your paint. With that in mind it’s safety first and I don’t think there’s a safer mitt than these cheap micro fibre mitts from Halfords. They’re cheap enough that if you’ve got a really mingin you can bin them if required, soft enough that they’re not going to damage most paint, mitt form so you can’t drop them and they puck up plenty of suds.
https://www.halfords.com/motoring/car-c ... 23532.html

For cars I know and have previously decontaminated properly I use a softer mitt. These mitts tend to pick up more suds, have a larger contact area and are softer than the above mitts.
https://www.in2detailing.co.uk/products ... -wash-mitt

And for really soft paint, like that DB6, I’ll use a lambs wool mitt. To be honest I don’t think there’s any performance different over the Korea mitt but in my head I’d rather be sure that I’ve made every attempt to be gentle of the paint.
https://www.in2detailing.co.uk/products ... and-insert

Take from that what you like Shop but to summarise I like a mitt so that I don’t drop it (they go straight in the bin if that happens), microfibre is a great allround material and that the “stranded” construction reduces the chance of contaminants getting trapped between the mitt and paint. 👍
