Insurance Question Again...

Right, people with remapped cars... Who are you with and how much extra did it cost?
Just phoned up Sky who I am with to see how much it would be for a remap and they have said it will put the premium up by 25% a year, which seems steep.
Mind you they did say changing the DRC for Bilsteins will cost nothing to the premium!

Yeah that sound about right. But then if you are with sky I'm guessing your premium is pretty good it the first place?

I'm with them and they quoted about the same as you with the map. Still cheaper than others with the standard car...l

Yeah I'm with sky already. Our premium is 825 with no mods. In wifes name as she is main driver. She is 29 and I'm 31. On drive, tracker, 6k miles a year, business class 1.

Was going with the mrc map with the better gearbox map. It gets on my nerves changing up and down at 32mph.

IIRC the hike in mine was only about £50/year - but then I am a bit (??lot?? ) older. Policy is via A Plan and they have been consistently competitive, particularly for a modified vehicle.

It's the MRC Stage 1+ map I have - love it!! :P
