If I was that close to unit 20 that's exactly what I would do. Or drive it there if you think you'll make it.

Check ebay I think jimbo (Manchester) has one on there......

I thought a new one was closer to £8000.00 fitted.............

My rs6 has had a new box fitted and i just checked the invoice and the box alone brand new from slough audi was 2400!

If you use genuine Audi gearbox you will get a 2 year warranty

A new box is £2960 + vat with a 2 years warranty. A exchange box with a 1 year warranty is £1980+ vat

Thinking about it £8000.00 was what I remember seeing if a dealership do it.
I think and if the box is £2960.00 + Vat then 2- 3 Days labour and various bit and pieces its not too far off.
I would say Grizz is the man for the job if you're in Leeds.
