Cool. They are pretty when they are new.

This might help for installing them:

Cheers for that. I did read through it a couple of times (thanks for the write up) and whilst I do fancy doing it myself, its having the space and time, so I've booked it in with a garage that I trust a week on Wednesday.
Going for 100mm and setting 4 as you've suggested.

I personally found a setting of 4 a bit to soft, so I went with 2 all round – much better IMHO.
I like a hard ride.

Where is the indicator mark? Is it at 6'o clock ie is the above already set at 1?

Planning ahead here! :)

When I set mine, I do it by feel. Go to 1 then dial it back.

Thanks but what position is that picture set to? Where's the reference mark for the dial? Sorry for the possibly dumb questions but i had no instructions just the spring adjusting spanners.

The instructions appear to be as useful as a Cadbury's welder but I've had a play with the dial.
It appears that there is a tiny blue mark above the dial, and so I assume it is set at 9. Turning to the "+" direction moves it down to 1.
It doesn't feel like there is any notch to indicate you've moved to the next number, so if you want a 4, I would ensure the little hole on the side is pointing downwards.

In which case those two '6's are going to confuse me no end!

The little setting wheel is useless, but it is indented so you can feel. It's not brilliantly obvious when it clicks though, so you have to be attentive. Possibly do it a couple of times to be sure.

Also Bilstein should be ashamed of the "documentation" they send with the kit. I actually called them to find out if they had forgot to put them in the box. Nope, they don't do any. He suggested I use the H&R instructions which I happened to have :D

I had my PSS9's installed yesterday and the car is transformed into a smooth and comfortable ride.
A million miles away from the rattle cage which a failed DRC suspension imparts on the car!

The trickiest part was a few seized bolts, but a bit of WD40 and some GRRRR and everything came apart nicely.

Thanks to the stickies which made the install a whole lot easier.

once you've had new suspension installed i would highly advise that a full geometery set-up is done also. you will be gobsmacked at how it transforms the car.
