If you want to go Main Dealer, then take the 20 mile trip down to Camberley.

If you want Inde take the 70 mile trip to MRC

If you want to go DIY then get the bits from Unit 20.

Simples!!

Need to decide if you want drilled or undrilled discs

Then I'd give Grizz a call at Unit 20 - he's usually the cheapest for parts (mention the forum!) and will only sell you stuff you can trust......

@Gravitypilot : Were those solid disks? That is what I prefer. Where did you get them from?

i didnt get a quote for the rears but it seems pretty good from the other quotes i had were mental...

not fond of the drilled type, had them before on another motor and they seem to crack if they cool to quickley

they said the pads that they matched up were from, 'apec' does anyone have experience with apec pads?

i think im going to get a new front set for mine pretty soon

Unit 20 and i think if you speak with Doug at MRC the prices are about the same.

Unit 20 did a great job as well fitting them all round

Apec pads are fine for everyday runabouts but i really wouldnt put them on a high performance car. I fitted them on my Maserati 3200 as it was all i could get in short notice to get it through its MOT. I cooked them on the first spirited drive. They really aren't up to the job

If you want to fit them yourself, some people sell genuine front discs for 515 and 525 (diff seller) for a pair on the eeeeebay.

By solid do you mean not vented????? Why would anyone buy solid not vented? 99.999% of brakes on anything bigger than a hatchback with drums on the back have vented discs....for a reason, cooling. Can you really buy solid discs for an RS6, has anyone been on a track with them and not melted / warped them?

I am guessing they would be vented (no one would make them unvented) just not cross-drilled which only makes them weaker anyway.
B7 RS4 saloon Misano red, comfy seats, JHM tune & JHM full exhaust with cats and resonators - gone.
C5 RS6 Avant Daytona/Cognac - gone.
