Cheap brake pads ! Anyone using these.

Post by Wolverine » Sun Sep 05, 2010 10:24 pm

Hi ...

This website is selling RS6 Mintex front brake pads for £38.13 + VAT. That is absurdly cheap .... but how do they compare to OEMS ? Will these connect to the RS6 wear sensor cables and DIS instrumentation warning light ?

Anyone using these and willing to elaborate on their experience ? Thanks.

I intend to give them a try when the time comes. I've used that site for discs and pads before, seem very good quality and prices. Shame EBC don't do discs for the rs6!

That's stupidly cheap!

That's like a fiver per pad!!

I just paid like 250-odd ruddy quid for my front pads!! Wish I'd seen this sooner!!

Eddie, it must be done in this order: Enter your reg in the box, click 'find my car', then click 'choose a product' and scroll down to 'brake pads - mintex'.

Alternatively, use the 'Search by category' box in the middle of the screen. Click on brake pads; Audi; RS6 etc. etc. etc.

Bit worrying they can't spell 'category' though :?
