Why thank you Sir! And that was when she was filthy dirty.. Wait until it's clean - the sprint blue looks ravishing when some elbow grease is used..

Yes! It's mine! I put it up for sale a few days ago as I'll be spending most of the foreseeable future in Afghanistan and I'm not prepared to just leave it standing from here to eternity. the advert photos are bit iffy as they were the only ones I had to hand and they don't do it justice.....but then I would say that, wouldn't I? Apologies to anyone who has e-mailled me with questions and received no reply: my access to e-mail is more than just a bit dodgy at the moment. In answer to aka dk's question.....the Audi warranty finishes mid-May 2010, at which point I'll be getting it a Warranty Wise policy to cover all the mechanicals, electricals etc...as well as cover against the catalytic convertors failing and MOT failure.....though it has just passed its MOT at East Kent Audi. P.O'ed at having to sell it, but c'est la vie :boohoo:

nice car, indeed. might be worth putting an ad in the classifieds on this forum - a sprint blue rs6+ is bound to create lots of interest. good luck in the sale....

Going to speak to EK Audi today and get the low-down on warranty renewal for the blue whale. Like you guys said: it's a no-brainer.

call audi warranty direct...sometimes you encounter a clueless person at a dealership...

you should be able to renew, its normall capped at 100k or 7/8 years ?

Save your 2k as you will not get your money back on resale.
Let the new buyer pay for it.

They will have 3 months after the existing warranty expires to renew it if they so wish.

Official Warranty will be £2450 (give or take a pound or two) for named component only.
Absolutely not worth it IMO, as last year was £1240 for all component.
Twice the price, for a lot less? No thanks!

The new owner will have the option to do it if he wants. Can't believe the price of it now, but it's a double edged sword isn't it, could save ££££'s from one claim
