sat nav

having only just picked mine up and being a newbie is it possible to input a postcode into the sat nav?

any help would be appreciated :lol:

The first 4 characters with the RNS-D I believe. Not sure about the RNS-E.
Daytona RS6 C5 Avant. Viper'd, Billies, Waggers, MTM box brain, C6 stoppers, xcarlink, R8 coolant cap (woohoo)

cheers for the response. i can get the first 4 characters in but that is it, not full postcode.

Yup, that's it. Or do what I did and get a tomtom :)

To be fair, it's quite good at street names.

RNS-E is first 4 also.

People often moan about the fact that it is not 7 character to allow full UK postcode entry.

However the problem is that we're the only country in europe with a 7 character postcode. The rest are 5 character.

So Audi don't feel obligated to make it do 7 character even on the new MMI 3G with HDD nav.
