If the shoe is included, then it's a bargain. I bet it's cat D or something.

Could be. Worth a call if you're interested. I'm always a little wary of such short ads, but then better that than the whole MI5 and gearbox anthology. The plusses are getting rarer and rarer.

sent him an email....

i agree on the short ads....BUT I bought an S4 from the worst Autotrader ad I've ever seen, rubbish pics of the car and equally rubbish description, it was at least £4k underpriced and was on there for a while....turned out it was a loaded managing director who lived in Kensington....got a bargain!

Cool. DK could be back in a 6 sooner than we thought! The photos look good anyway.

its difficult to put a value on this one. a plus with average mileage (50 - 60k) would sell for around 3 - 4k above non-plus of same condition. was the book price of £11,550 for a plus ?
i would say that if its been well looked after, it's the bargain of the century..!!

yes, it was specifically for a plus

it was £11,800 actually as its a '54

but we all know book price isnt a good indicator of private sale on such a limited edition car....but, if you go to trade it in, this around what they'll offer you

Did you get any info on it, DK? If I was looking for a 6 I'd be sorely tempted. The mileage is fairly irrelevant on these cars.

no response on email....though I got a missed call from a dry cleaners in Armagh which must be the guy (hopefully he owns it !) but Armagh is not near Belfast, so its a bit of a mission to get to ! probably a factor in why its so cheap I'd imagine, alot of people would be put off getting to NI

Thought it was strange why he doesn't have the RS6 on usedcarni or any of the local sites we have in NI

Armagh is a trek even for me!

He probably get offered a bad trade-in and just wants to sell it quick.

I work in Belfast so if anyone is popping over give me a shout.

I have loads of connections in the trade over he but this is a private seller so can't give any advise.

Steve

Anyone know how long I'd have to own a car in the UK before I'd be allowed to export it (to Australia - I'd heard the window for export ownership was 24 months)? My dad is always on the lookout for an estate to thrash about with all his kit onboard - this one will put a very big smile on his dial.

Seems that inflation has hit this one already. It's now at £13,750. I wonder what it'll be after the weekend?
