Not cheap, but I was surprised when a specialist quote only came in £54 cheaper??
Since a huge portion of the Audi quote is for very expensive labour (they want the motor for 2 days), would one not expect a significantly better price from an independent? I went through just the same with brake disks + pads and had the same result - wasted lots of time just to end up sticking it into the dealer - although I can understand this more as the labour:parts ratio is much lower.
I've been happy with Stoke Audi in the past but wondereded if anyone has made any worthwhile savings by shopping around more? Is it worth haggling perhaps

Would also be keen to hear from anyone who has any horror stories (or positive feedback of course) regarding Audi Stoke.
Chrs.
