I've just had a quote of £410.40 at a non franchise repairer and £492.48 at a franchised repairer with a claim limit to the value of the car! (49k miles on clock).

Really tempted, could I get rid of my DRC and get coilovers through this??

I just asked for a quote for the missus's BMW X3 and got exactly the same price.

Think I'll call them in the morning just to double check whats coverd and for how much, does sound pretty good though.

Good spy Raceman, cheers for the heads up.

Just checked the exclusions and modified vehicles are excluded. I'm going to see if they will cover me with my PSS9s fitted. Also says the policy doesn't cover "wear, inherent faults, faulty workmanship, cracked blocks, cracked cylinder heads, burnt valves, oil and fluid leaks, accidental damage to radiator" so not sure how big a limitation this is ???

Hi chaps,

I notice that you are using the wrong link to the UVW website; the url you need is infact www.usedvehiclewarranty.co.uk.

We can cover most vehicles, even those having exceeded the 10 years of age or 100,000 miles parameters so please contact us for a quotation. Unfortunately, we are unable to cover vehicles which have been modified from the manufacturers' original specifications as our Underwriters will not permit us to do this.

I hope that this helps but if you should require any further information about our services please do not hesitate to contact us.

With kindest regards,
Steph

No - she's just put an extra "." on the end - ie a typo.

Try this www.usedvehiclewarranty.co.uk
