Warranty
Warranty
I renewed my Audi breakdown cover 2 weeks ago, anyway got a phone call today from the RAC saying as a RAC customer they are offering me a warranty which they started doing last week, they will cover my car....... are you ready for this for the sum of £115 for the year, i got the guy to tell me all the details over the phone he mentioned the usual max of £2000 per claim, 5 claims per, covers gearbox, turbos, then he said suspension is also covered, anyway he is ringing me back tomorrow, i`ve given him a few questions to ask so will see, but for £115 might be worth a punt ehh!!
p.s anyone else know info on this?

RE: Warranty
yep, he asked how old it was, i told him about the probs these have suspension gearbox, and he replied thats all in and covered, so i`ve given him a few questions like is there certain items in the gearbox that are not covered which may of caused the failure, stuff like that.
who knows could get bilsteins out of this if i play me cards right

RE: Warranty
And me as I am an existing RAC customer.
Re: RE: Warranty
That compares with £1655 for the Audi annual warranty. Maybe it's a monthly cost from the RAC?
If not I'd better start shorting the shares in Aviva.

RE: Re: RE: Warranty
Ha ha... RAC never learn, when I had my RS6, RAC offered me tyre insurance for £50... I claimed something like £1250 on tyres in one year
all of which were legitimate issues like pot holes and bad luck, but by goodness I saved some money!!!
Bargain; I even renewed, thankfully the second year for both me and the RAC I only claimed one tyre for £250'ish...
I wonder why I could not get tyre insurance the third year?

I had an RAC Platinum warranty when I bought the car, end of 2008, so it's not new.
