I need to get four new wheels as just found out this morning mine are buckled, this was causing a slight vibration over 70. Can anyone recommend a supplier please for four new wheels.

I would start with Grizz at Unit 20, I think that he normally has some sets available.

How sure are you that they are buckled? Becuase I had vibration like that which disappeared after having the tracking done.

Was it expensive to get them shipped? Or did you pick them up?

I am going to get a second opinion first thing tommorow. Last week i had 2 new front tyres and got them to rebalance all 4 + 4 wheel laser alignment which was fine - Still done it, so took it elsewhere who said they were all buckled ! As for tracking - straight as an arrow ! This is really doing my head in !!!!!!!!!!!!!

Mine drove straight as an arrow, too. But vibration above 70. Toe-in adjustment sorted it. How do you buckle 4 wheels anyway? They can't be that soft. They're not RS4 alloys

My local tyre place done all the balance work, they are very good. Still had the vibration so booked in to a 4 wheel rolling road, explained the problem and they reported the buckled wheels. So i phone the local tyre shop for new wheels and they said bring it in and will double check. So now i have cuukoos flying around my head !!!!!! help !!

OEM's are VERY hard to buckle.
I wouldtake it to a different tyre place and get them to check the balance again without telling them why you want it checked.
I have had this issue before, and now know the drill, so it may help you.
first time I had the same thing as you except mine was over 90mph.
So I took it back and the tyre co who I hqad used for years, they swore black is white that the wheels were buckled. I asked tehm to try re balancing as it was not there before I bought the car in- they tried again and couldn't get them to balance.
So they took them off the spinner, aqnd refitted them each time on there machine 3 or 4 times untill they got the balance right. It took over an hour, as each time it would throw up different readings.
Same thing happened when i had my wheels done just recently, he couldnt get them to balance, told him what to try as i had seen this before, and all was good. They need patience!
Any hoo- its worth a try!

What mooch said. I watch them do the balancing. If it need any weights over 100g then I tell them to spin the tyre round on the rim and try again. I won't leave until it's reading 0, 0.
Having (good) tyres properly fitted is no laughing matter on a car that'll do almost 200mph. That vibration you're feeling would translate to the wheel leaving the ground at higher speeds, and the consequent loss of adherence.

Yeah, I agree. There are few places that can balance a wheel really well.

Took it in this morning and all 4 WHEELS re-balanced with weights on, only 1 No. wheel was true ! It was done on there latest machine with all readings showing 00 00 - The first time last week i got them to take all weights of and renew, second time company 2 re bal and it was even worse - Today with weights on it is still there same as first time. Still doing it so spoke to grizz and he has agreed on a second hand set to fit next week, if its still there its going of Dover cliff !!!!
