Personally, I'd steer well clear.

Doesn't take much to make an RS6 cat D these days. I'd have to look very carefully at what was repaired and why. Might make a good track / project car.

Fair comment. If you can satisfy yourself about the extent and standard of the repairs, then you might have a reasonable car for less than £12k after DRC fixed (ie replaced).

Still a cheap car , I've fixed a few this year that were going to cat D...They had fec all wrong with them ...And by agreeing a "contract repair" they were fixed with out going on the list.

its in oxford, take it to MRC and then you can decide whether its worth it..

I'd allow say upto £3k of repairs inc. DRC replacement

Otherwise not worth it

This makes me rage with anger , the mere fact that this is advertised has yet again devalued our cars . Some people now think this is a starting point for buying. As the Mooch had mentioned in a previous thread we as a club should buy all the beasts out there on sale to keep some sort of credibility in the 6,and take all this s***e out of the market place and use for spares.
just my 2p worth

Interesting front seats with perforated leather, never seen that before.

I'd buy it so long as it drove ok and I had a big chunk of cash (like another £8,000) spare to spend just in case there are any hidden issues, brakes, cam belt, tyres, gearbox, etc etc................

i think the seat fabric is the Hi-tec cloth - actually matches off nicely against carbon inlays - just my 2cts..... Looks cheap as long as you can get comfortable with the car's maintenance and insurance history.

Maybe. Good for a power circuit like the ring though. Plus you can get there in comfort ;)
