Bloody bastards at WD have conveniently lost my notes and confirmation regarding the allowing of DRC to be scrapped in favour of coilovers. I know some of you guys on here have this cover too so need some help. I need proof that the cover exists so could you post below or PM me if you have this on your policy.

I said to the bint on the phone, 'You have other customers with RS6's that have the same cover as me, allowing them to have coilovers when the DRC fails again. Isnt that proof enough?'. Her response was, 'We have no customers with this addition to thier policy and WD would not cover modifications'.

I reminded her that they are currently covering my MTM map and Forge DV's. 'Oh yeah!', she said.

They will quite happily pay out for DRC to be fixed though - without sending a tech to check it, but this really is taking the piss.

I even asked for a copy of all the phone calls that i made / were made to me and she said that i had to apply in writing and enclose a cheque for £10. Its a joke.

You must always get any agreements with insurance companies in writing.

I have had claims with W.D. and found them to be reasonably good at paying out.
In the first Year they paid for DRC repairs and an intercooler which came to more than the policy cost !

P.M. Sent which may be of some help..................

Banging my head on brick walls today with WD but with some success i guess. Looks like they may be paying out equivalent cost of fixing the DRC. But only for one shock. They wont pay for the other one that has to be done at the same time (according to the book) despite my efforts. Bill looks to be £1k+ for the work so with a few extra pennies that should cover the 'repairs'. :sekret:
