TPMS Codes - Flat Batteries?

I believe these are tied to flat batteries in the TPMS sensors?

Got no response from the VAGCOM forum....

I don't want to spend a fortune on them if it could be something else.

01467 - Front Left Tire Pressure Sensor (G222)
53-10 - Supply Voltage Too Low - Intermittent
01468 - Front Right Tire Pressure Sensor (G223)
53-00 - Supply Voltage Too Low
01469 - Rear Left Tire Pressure Sensor (G224)
53-00 - Supply Voltage Too Low
01521 - Sensor for Tire Pressure
53-10 - Supply Voltage Too Low - Intermittent

All help appreciated

That's it I'm afraid. The batteries are dead or dying. You'll need to replace all 4 or turn the system off. jd_hands bought some aftermarket ones.

That was my thought Phil, not seen the OK before. When I got the beast it was switched off! Still got the price down because of it :-)

I do like having everything working properly. It would distress me if the TPMS on mine failed. Also, I think that it's good to know when your tyre is loosing air pressure when you're doing 120mph :)

Mine weren't dead - they just didn't exist!!!! Previous owner / tyre depot had just removed them!!!! Yes the ones from alloywheelsdirect are still working well :-)

I was quoted about £150 per tyre to replace parts. seems a lot. Is that right?

Sensors are around 75 and the valve 12. Most places will fit those at no extra cost with new tyres.

....there doesnt seem to be any specific learning procedure either. all i did was switch the system off in the menu and then on again and then store pressures. all seems to work without any problem.

Agree, checked the manual and the instructions with the sensors. Just turn it on and store the pressures....
