Hi all, I've been lurking for a few weeks so thought I'd say hello. I am currently looking for a c5 rs6 hence joining the forum. I have been looking on both here and ph's and have fairly detailed requirements. I have noticed that the majority of cars seem to have light coloured interiors and we want black on black or daytona with black on an avant. Was this an unpopular spec or are people just not selling those colours
Anyway the forum is proving very useful so thanks for the reading so far. Hope to post more once I have one.

Welcome Marc. I have a Daytona with black interior. Love it. I originally would have prefered a lighter interior since I thought the black was oppressive, but now I wouldn't change.
I was under the impression that it was reasonably evenly split. Maybe there'll be some black ones coming along soon;!

All the ones so far with the right spec, no drc, mileage etc and in budget have had light leather, it would be grubby in no time with my other half and dog. I should sell my other car first really but am hoping the right one comes along and I can keep both for a while.

What's your other car? I think the leather is pretty hard wearing as long as it's not the alcantara - don't even know if that was available for the RS6. I've got a friend with an S4 with half-alcantara, half leather and it's soiled as soon as you look at it.

I have an S2000 which I will be selling, may well wait until next spring and a 996 turbo which I am definitely keeping

That's the plan, just need to find one now. I will have a family soon so thought I should by an estate. I don't really like run of the mill cars so the rs fits the bill perfectly. Can't wait

Daytona with natural (dark grey) leather and black optics. I love the look! Got some 'plus' wheels on the way and it will look the nuts.

Black on Black is a pretty cool, but I guess oppressive combination if its got the black alcantara headlining too!
I'd love Black with Cognac .. mmmmh. Maybe I should junk the C6 RS6 idea and get hold of a plus ..

Plus's are even harder to find or at a premium price wise
