I get a horrible metalic scraping noise form the front end in the wheels area, it does it on almost full lock and sharp corners not at full lock but about half possibly 10 mph?
I think I can make it out to be the near side front but cant be sure, I have a big brake kit (C6) could it be some thing to do with that? wheel bearing?
I would take it to Audi but my local one doesnt fill me with confidence.

NOISES?!?
RE: NOISES?!?
Inside of the tyres rubbing the inner wheelarches due to the spacers required to make the C6 brake kit fit the C5? Mine does.

RE: NOISES?!?
It has done that but I raised the suspension to stop it.
what would a knackered wheel bearing sound like?

Jack the wheel up and wobble it, hard. There should be no play.
I would also get the wheel off and look for scraped metal (or otherwise).

Sounds more like CV joint if it's not the wheel scraping.
