I have been wasting my life away trying to make these programs work, got the CDs off ebay load of rubbish will not open, bought another from a web site down loaded it that also will not work, running vista but done the program in compatability mode still no good, as soon as you go to open up Elsa Win and log in it does do that but you cannot do anything else, can anyone advise on this

Mine works fine. Extremely useful tool. Bought off ebay and I had no problems with it. Could be vista?

The procedure for installing it is quite complicated did you follow it to the letter? If you haven't got it, I can send you mine.

Thanks for reply, i dont know if its the Vista thing, i have followed the download instructions to the letter, on both the programs i have got, i have 3 CD set and another i downloaded it from the net took 5hrs to download 6,5 gig, its a night mare, what program have you got? did it load straight away, also when you first logged into Elsa Win what did you do next? DOES another note open as what my instructions say, but this note does not appear.

Are you sure you're talking about Elsawin? Mine came on 7 full DVDs and 1 setup CD. Although that's for all VAG cars, not just Audi. Audi is on 2 DVDs.

It says on mine 'not tested in Vista & so may not work'.

Another reason to hate vista...

Is it possible you could send me yours how much do you want for them?

I got mine from the ebay user "checkoutcars". Try contacting him through ebay. It would be easier than me sending them to you.

I have installed this a couple of times on different computers and it has always worked, it is a pain to get it on but just follow the instructions and should be fine..

got it loaded now had to load every program in compatibility mode though because of Vista.

I thought elsawin was an online software of the VAG group & you had to subscribe to get it? WOuld love to get my hands on one so I wont have any problem with my rs6. WOuld the version you have be better than rosstech's?
How much did you get them for? I have an euro version vehicle, would it be compatible?

the 1st copy i got from e-bay 3 CD set but could not get them to load so i downloaded a version from www.whichmanuals.com it cost £9 but it took 6hrs to download some 6.5 gig done it through the nite, but if you have problems they give good support, mine now works ok, i think the Rosstech's version is identicle to what i have, have a look at the web site at whichmanuals, it worked for me.

In the drop down where you selected Audi A6 V8, you can click on the drop down box again, and RS6 will be listed after you have selected A6 V8.
