RS6 plus Brochure

Post by Hartge » Wed Jul 01, 2009 11:08 pm

Ive managed to get hold of a original RS6 plus brochure from Germany, which I understand is very rare find.
It wasn't until after I had scanned it in at the office and took the images home that I realised how dirty the scanner glass was, so apologies for the poor quality (I also missed out one page describing the numbered plaque in my haste to scan all the images in on my lunch hour).

Its low resolution to get under the 500k limit for attachments.

If anybody wants a high quality version then let me know as I'll re-scan it again once the scanner has been cleaned & re post them as individual 22 x 500k images

Cheers

Gary

I guess being a Plus owner, I should have one of these for the file so yes please Gary. Im sure I could handle a high res download.

Interestingly, I cant see my leather option in the brochure which is like a greeny leather (not black) - it has a funny name like "beur" from memory, but I cant seam to find any reference after seraching the forums. Any ideas to my leather colour / spec. It as an optional extra.

They did, but only for the LHD markets.
The other 100 RS6 plus RHD cars allocated to UK, IRE, SA and other RHD market only got the standard pedals.
I can see from RS6.com that this is a popular upgrade to USA spec LHD cars, they import the C5 pedal set from Germany (FYI: alloy pedals are standard on a C6 RHD RS6 so I guess they can be converted to fit a C5)

mushdaffer, The greeny leather option, is the RS6 plus option on page 6-7 called "Standard Plus" for whom didn't want to take the normal Blue, Cognac or Silver plus Pack options for a plus.
My 6+ has the same option and it may of been pure black when new, but with 39k on and after spending 2 days massaging it with liquid leather it will never be the same as these press photos - its a right PITA to keep looking nice.
BTW: "Beur or Bleur" means "natural" in English

Interesting you say that Gary, mine has the black leather and it's the worst car I've EVER had to keep looking half decent (which is as good as I can get it). My wife has an A3 S line with Audi 'Exclusive' two tone leather which is just mint.......always annoys me!

Any one else with a Plus with black leather that's duff?

Thanks Gary

Having done a search here, is it Liquid leather that I need to get rid of those horrible finger nail and trouser belt scratches that our seats gather so easily. They are a nighmare. I have attached some pictures of the scrapes on my seats that Im on about.
