Hi all, I recently joined the ranks of RS6 ownership, and an very happy with the decision. I have never owned an Audi, and I am astounded at how the RS6 remains very much still a supercar in performance and quality, even after the 7 or so years the competition has had to try and replicate such a usable and enjoyable vehicle.

Sure, there are some issues as with any highly specialised car, all of which I had learnt about prior to purchase from the experienced members of this forum, however the enjoyment and practicality far ourweights the costs of getting these things right.

On another note, I am currently trying to source an OEM "rear blind" button to replace the blank I have on the dash in the ESP/Park cluster. I plan to try and use it as an auxiliary. It looks like I can find a supplier from the US, however, I would appreciate any feedback on sourcing in the UK. Part Number/Cost etc would be helpful. Should a UK supply be difficult, and others would also like one, please add you name to this thread and I will get the required number from the US supplier, and PM you when they arrive.

Lets hope for years of safe driving and dangerous grins

Welcome along :)

When I got my 'every option ticked' 6 I was a little disappointed to see a blank near the sensors and ESP buttons. A quick look in the manual confirmed it was for a rear blind that could never be fitted to an avant like mine. On that basis, I toyed with the idea of getting some 'lettraset' scribble on lettering and making up an acronym of my own. I wouldn't go to the hassle of replacing the button, I just have visions of breaking some of the trim it I tried!

Get some pics up, or at least tell us a bit about her :)

Greg

Thanks All.

Don't have pics yet, but will post them as soon as I get chance.

Thanks Corey for the part number, much appreciated.

Brief details are:
Mugello Blue Saloon
Standard map (remap on the wish list)
Bilsteins + Hotchkis (amazing)

Question: is it common that the wheel wrench does not fit the standard wheel studs?

Cheers

Wow....potentially very, very embarrassing

Can I say that I have not yet physically tried too hard at looking at this, but noticed on quick observation that they were not a direct match, hence my seemingly "green" question.... although I am sure your guys will not believe me.

New member and already lost any chance of credibility....

Thanks david
