Does anyone have a boost guage fitted to thier 6? Seems odd that a car running turbos doesnt have an easy reference guage in the dash.

Im temepted by them aswell. Its easier than having to check vagcom everytime you think you have a boost issue.

There werent many favourable comments about his guage now were there? Im not looking for a 'fast and furious' look to the car, just an easy refernce to whats happenin under the bonnet.

Well that's the point, it is a good idea but getting it to look good in the car is a challenge in itself.

Now if you could programme it into your "heads up" display unit.......

Think i might sack the idea. Or maybe just fit it into the glove compartment where it can only be seen when i need it.
What would be cool is if it could be displayed on the tv screen! Via one of the aux inputs, so when you need it you just change channel

How about getting a small digital gauge and mounting it in the front cup holder bezel.
I found few this homebrew one which looks it eventually be made small enough to fit

Any advice on where you get the vacuum pipe back through the bulkhead?
I want to run mine into the glove box then take out when needed rarther than cutting the dash or air vents.

I was wanting to fit a boost guage as well, is the vacuum pipe located at back of engine the small pipe that comes off the turbo actuators, is that what you tee off of?
