Has any one fitted a set in thier C5? Or does anyone know if its possible? Saw a C6 saloon at Audi this mornin and thought they might look nice. I bet its not a cheap upgrade.

I took a C6 RS6's out on a test test drive and have to say that the seats in the new RS6 are bloody lovely, not made by recaro, but then i dont have a recaro shaped arse really, they fitted my back side much nicer and were very comfy. Would be a good upgrade I would think if they fit

You could even be tempted to rip out the back seats and fit some harnesses (if you are a lunatic obviously ).

I call tps today to get the price on some c6 seats , they don't list a whole seat only all the parts..

Very nice in a sentence m8. Made a lovely noise, especially on gear change. Suspension seems to be very good on sport setting, and comfortable on soft. Only bad bit was it didn't really feel a lot quicker than my bog standard C5, it obviously was as i scared the living <beep> out of the sales boy in it, hit 160 on a dual carriage way and was told: the....ther.....there's a speed camera up here........!.
Even the sales boy (I use the word boy because he was about 12, or looked it anyway) said mine felt "bloody quick" after we went out in mine for him to appraise it for trade in.

But overall very nice, just not 80k quid nice to be honest, and certainly not worth my C5 and 50k.

They were offering some very good deals though, total of 14k cash off, plus loads of free options on it. Just after my recent dealing with Audi over the DRC, I will NEVER grace them with any of my money. I dunno eh grizz, all this trade im drumming up for you at tho moment by telling people to use you and NOT audi dealers.........gotta be worth a free H&R convo.......:p

So did anybody else evaluate a possibility of fitting the seats form the new rs6 ? Would they fit ? Would they work with the rest of the car ?

there are some for sale on ebay

They will need lots of work to fit , I emailed Recaro de and was told they would not fit.


I've got a set of recaro sportster cs on order.....

Ah well. Guess its gonna be a case of 'who can modify them first'.
