Window trims......

Post by TIMSRS » Wed Mar 25, 2009 12:19 pm

I am looking at changing the shadow chrome around the windows, front grille and strip on rear boot. Is there a replacement in mat black colour where they can be changed.

Grills/boot are easy to swap over but the bits around the window isnt...
Any good bodyshop can paint them for you - much cheaper than replacing everything.
I got all mine painted in Ebony Black, laquered - looked more classy than the factory matt finish...

It might sound silly, but you can get a really good result with black insulation tape - at least to see if you like if before you get it sprayed.
