Thinking of buying a late model RS6 saloon , 2005 reg year
I have seen a black one with 37000 miles, 1 owner with Audi warranty
Is £25000 too much money
It seems too much
Thanks

I've just bought a late 2004 RS6 Plus with 33k on the clock for £24.5K so I'd say yes for a "standard RS6" saloon that is at least 2-3K over

Seems well over priced, must be a dealer with a warranty for that. I expect there is a fair amount of movement in that price when you consider that I picked mine up (similar but an 03) with 27k and FAsh for £19 k, down from £24500, that was 5 months ago. Hammer them down, see what you can get it for?

Is it the one at swifts? Lovely looking, black optics a real bonus but not worth the asking price. Good luck.

wow ! If its £25k then I well and truely got my pants pulled down on what I just sold my 49k saloon for with 7 months Audi warranty ! . . . . or is it they are trying to pull your pants down ?!?!
IT THINK ITS A BIT OF BOTH
You should be looking at £18k- £19k mate, look elsewhere, noones gonna pay them the £25k they're asking, dont be the mug they're waiting for

Assuming 05 plate with 37k, then book is 17200 (Excellent condition)
Expect it to retail for 18-20k on a forecourt.
David yours booked at 13200, so you still got good money for it !

yeaaaaa, not too sure I agree with book on these sorts of cars. . . .your talking very low volume available and condition can vary. So I dont see why book value determines the price. Surely market dynamics should take control.
If you want a mint RS6, unless a dealer has it up for cheap cos he's raped someone, then you have to pay what the sellers want to sell for. . . .book or no book

Yes its the one at Swifts
2005 - not sure what the reference to black optics is
Seems about £5K over what else is on offer
Will call on Monday and see where they stand on price
Anyone else asked?

Black optics refers to the black trim around the grill and windows instead of matt aluminium. Good luck.

Swifts have had this in for absolutely ages - at least 6 months as I have seen it on my RS6 searches on the Trader everytime!! They will no doubt wbe wanting shut of it as they will have cash tied up in it.
the bottom has dropped out the market which is there loss your gain - offer em 20k 'bangers and mash' take it or leave it. There is a very limited market for these cars and joe bloggs typically cant afford the running costs. Take a print out of the trader for some sub 50k mileage comparables.
some argue Saloons are also less desirable than the estates....controversial statement on here I know chaps!!

afraid so
my car was 49k, RNSE, Milltek & Audi warranty - mint condition. Had it on PH for £16-£17k. So I really dont quite understand how there is someone out there actually even contemplating going to see something priced at £25k. . . surely this person would have bitten my arm off
The market is not there, buyers are few and far between. . . .
Picking up a 30k 2004 S4 in the coming days. . . gonna stick a non - res Milltek to try and console myself !

Book prices are a waste of time on these cars, but yes its too expensive...
