Please quote me if I'm wrong, but does Audi guarantee any DRC related components for 12 months following repairs?

AFIK all Audi parts carry a 2 year warranty.
But... of course they usually only replace the defective parts, so your DRC can fail on each diagonal separately and independently.

Therefore would it be safe to say that so long as I have drc problems within 24 months that Audi will cover the costs of replacing and repairs regardless of warranty?

No - if you have a repair that only replaces half the system, then the guarantee will only cover if that half fails again - not if the other diagonal needs doing

cheers chaps. Will have to look into my files to see when the repairs were done. So long as the 24 month guarantee is in place and something happens to one or the other diagonals then I have a claim before the end of the period.

My car had complete new DRC, all shocks and valves replaced only 2 months before I bought. It failed after only 6 weeks, but Audi would not replace under their 2 year parts warranty due to change of owner. Used excuse that parts were fitted under previous owners warranty (t**sers), so 2 year parts guarantee not valid. Had replacement H&R coilovers fitted under aftermarket warranty.
Don't assume if buying a car with new DRC, that Audi will fix WHEN it goes wrong.

My DRC failed a few weeks ago, initially the car was taken to AMD in order for the complete system to be ripped out and KWs fitted which was to be paid by my warranty company (carcare) Well needless to say my claim for coilovers was knocked back and i was told that they would only repair the two leaking shocks. So sorry to Shaun at AMD - my car was taken to Bexley Audi where it is currently have the whole system replaced under Audi's 24 months warranty, despite the whole system being replaced only 12 months ago at Audi - Sheffield when owned by the previous owner.
Hopefully this repair will get me through the next 12 months until i can afford coilovers paid for out of my own pocket.

The only guarantee is that it'll stop working...

Well Audi guarantee parts for 2 years but labour is only covered in the first year , which is rubbish if you are getting hit for Audi labour rates between months 13-24...
