Well, I've finally gone and bitten the bullet. After a good few months of looking at cars on here and scanning Pistonheads and autotrader on a daily basis I've taken the plunge. I don't know what came over me .. I've not even seen the car in the flesh!

Here she is:-

Sadly for me, the numberplate is returning to the previous owner.

I did pay a premium as I bought the car from a dealer but I'm getting it serviced before collection and 12 months all component warranty which for me was the deciding factor.

Looking forward to making my own contribution to thie rising oil prices in due course!

Looks superb.

I'm only 6 weeks into RS ownership and still grinning between petrol stations :-)

I'm fairly new to the forum and will keep a look out for any planned meets for the chance to pick everyone's brains !!

Glad you took the plunge, I've had mine for 3.5 years and I'd do it all again! Still amazed at the performance of the standard car, will get it chipped when/if I get bored. :)

Looks great, welcome.

You wouldn't want that number plate anyway, she's way more power than that! Enjoy.

I've done the whole tuning thing with my last car, I had a Lotus elise where I think the only standard parts were the seats, body panels, wheels and the lights! 3 engines later I realised it wasn't all it was cracked up to be

I'll get some more snaps once I pick her up on Saturday. If you see an RS6 in the London area with a driver grinning from ear to ear, give me a wave :)

Welcome....also in London and still grinning after 2.5 years and mrc re-map plus bilstein.
Keep seeing an mtm badged RS6 and an abt RS6 driving up Ken Ch St....
If you see a filthy mugello rs6 saloon in Kensington, Chelsea or Fulham...it will be me. Was caught by police at Buckingham Palace whom asked me to rev so they could listen to the milltek [not sure her most gracious majesty enjoyed it].
