Thinking of purchasing RS6 - circa 03/04 model

Hi All,

I am on the lookout for a RS6 Avant round about 03/04 model. Apart from a FSH, checking bodywork etc, are there any specific things I should be looking for when viewing these cars.

How do the gearboxes, clutches etc take the strain or are they bombproof

Any advice would be appreciated

I would say the gearbox is a weak link on the "6", make sure you check it properly and get a good warranty when you do purchase.
