wheel bearings

hey chaps has anyone had the front wheel bearings changed as my 6 is making a noise under load turning left and right. anyone know if its a big job and how much it would cost. 8)

I had mine got at the Ring last year. A quick run down to the only Audi garage that was open and then a friendly garage at the Ring did them in about 1 hour per side. Can't remember the cost, but it was so cheap I threw in a tip for many beers. Best to get a specialist to do it though as there is a knack to doing it right.

I've had both front bearings done. O/S done when changing the DRC back in March, then the N/S went back in September. Cost of repair at the dealers was £250. Hope this helps
