After completing phase one of my plan to free up some cash, the RS4 has gone and the subsequent drop in the value of anything that isn't diesel means I am able to afford an RS6 instead of a shed I was planning on getting ...

I have managed to find a localish sensibly priced, sensibly spec'd RS6 but would like to get an inspection before purchase as it is a private sale. Any recommendations .. I would prefer someone who knows the cars well rather than anyone who just generally does inspections?

Needs to be in the South / South West so I can get the car there without hundreds of miles of travel ..

You could try Fontain in Bucks... Or pretend you want to speak to the RS tech at a dealership and mumble about a brown paper bag with a hundred quid in it if he'll pop by after work...
