Hi guys
Finally got myself a nice dark blue RS6 Avant and I love it!!!!
I have one little problem though and its that everytime it rains the car steams up in a big way. I have done loads of searches on here and think its something to do with the solar sunroof the car has. Thing is, I havent found the cure.
Please can someone help as its driving me mad!!!!
Thanks in advance
Stu

Hi Stu
So you changed your username then... Thought it was you when I read about previous cars.
I am Good thanks, just looking forwards to picking the Westfield up later. The weather is fine so if it holds out, it'll be a nice drive back. That dump valve noise (not to mention the speed) is addictive.
No probs about the hard-drive info; glad to help.
It was nice meeting you and chatting to you the other night; car looked spot on. I've only ever seen a few RS6's about, so it was a rare sight. Knew it was something beasty as you pulled up (heard the noise and thought to myself "oooh, a V8 - sounds like mine!")

Have you checked the CD changer in the boot? Last time I had Steamy Windows was when Tina Turner was in there.
Welcome to the club and congratulations on your purchase!
Do you have the aircon on or off?

I have got a temporary fix though..........I have just done the inside front windows and windscreen with Rain X anti fog and it has worked an absolute treat, no condesation whatsoever!!!! I know its not a perfect fix but it will do for now, Im well pleased!!!

I used to get that problem with condensation, but doesn't seem to happen if I don't keep switching between ac on-off too much. Just leave the ac on all the time now unless I'm driving past RS4/911's etc..
Nice car by the way, very 'dark' look

Nice - are the wheels coloured or stock? Been quoted £1600+ for a set of OEM Pus wheels...

Looks good!
My front screen will mist slightly if I switch the AC off after having it running for a long time. It doesn't steam up if I leave it either on or off.

Thanks for the comments guys!
Not sure on the wheels to be honest, they were like that when I got the car and looked powdercoated? Ive just had them refurbed though by a local company in the same colour as some of the coating was flaking. £250 fully refurbished and they look great!!!
