Hi All

Hardly a thrilling topic, but my car has recently developed an interesting fault:

When turned off and locked with the fob, if left for a few hours, the brake lights come on. This has resulted in a flat battery a few times now. I assume that this is caused by the Brake pedal lowering itself when turned off. If when I get out of the car, I lift the pedal, it seems not to happen. However, I regularly forget to do this and need to get it sorted.

Has anyone else had this problem and does anyone have an idea for a quick fix that I could do myself?

you can try ajusting the brake light switch. I guess it will be above the break light pedal. Not sure on the rs6 where it is but should be here.
