Can anybody help i have had to change the ECU for the alarm system due to warter corrosion(leak yet to be found)which is under the carpet in the front passenger foot well.
when i change the unit will i need to reprograme the keys and if so how do i do it

IIRC thats the "CCU" Convenience Control Unit, if you search for "Keys" am sure the answer will be on here somewhere!

you will need a dealer to do that, or else need to use vag-com nd a manual. iirc the rs6 is immobiliser 3 technology. if you can't do the dealer thing, say so, and i'll look to dig something up...
