hi just bought my first rs6,its a 2004 silver saloon,now i was told that the top speed limiter is removed on all cars true or false,as i am new to this forum,is there any meets in the dorset area,is there a proper club for these cars,what about car stickers and stuff,any body had any dealings with fountain motors

Hi, no speed limiter on mine, I saw 175mph on my way back from le-mans on Sunday

hi, i tested mine out on the autobahn, mine didn't limit, kept going till 165mph when i bottled it, the ride very smooth at that speed though.

hello and welcome, and no all speed limiters are not removed! You will find tho that depending on how accurate your speedo is , that they will show around 175 before it kicks in.

...and the car can go faster but only those that have been tuned have no limiters AFAIK.
