Looks just like your kind of car Adam. ;-) Don't know about the history though, sorry.

Nice quad pipes... but IMO those alloys look awful.

I'll get my coat.

As Steve said, the quad pipes look good, but I am unsure of the wheels.

The car does look smart and unique. It is subtle enough not to make it too garish...

I think that's a good price to be honest. The mileage is good (mine has 90K and is still looks and runs like new) and with the money spent on it with the ABT mods, it makes for a small bargain. I'd snap it up if I had the funds!

I've seen it around on the road. A few nights ago he was up my rear very promptly, quicker than I normally expect certainly. I've been emailing the guy and suggesting he signs up here. He's a reluctant seller, so if he's still got it in a few weeks time he's shown interest in coming to the Wigan NW meet, so we'd be able to see it in the flesh.

20' wheels on an RS6? Your ass will turn to jelly after about 5 miles.

ABT for sale

Post by ABT547 » Tue May 13, 2008 11:02 am

Hi all, this is my car for sale on Pistonheads.

If anyone has any questions just get me on my email -

andymckenzie1977@btinternet.com

I will try and get to the meet arranged over in Wigan subject to me not selling the car. As for the wheels, please consider these are genuine ABT wheels specifically made for the RS6. ABT being the respected tuner they are will not put something on the car that significantly has detrimental effect on the cars performance or ride quality. I have been in several RS6's and the ride of mine has no noticable difference, just looks more impressive on the road with the bigger disks and more wheel. :-)

will post up some new pics I am going to take over the next day or two.

Cheers Andy!!

I guess you are right - the 19" wheels leave little aspect to absorb bumps so its probably the same. The 20"s look good though.

I think the 20inch wheels look great .... the offset is slightly bigger so they stick out a touch and fill the arches much better. Having been in one with these alloys, I can confirm that the ride isnt noticably harder than stock 19 inch alloys. Further, the slightly smaller profile gives better handling around corners, since tyre wall is stiffer and so less squeal and roll. Lastly, with 20inch you can upgrade the discs to bigger items ............. sweet.
