Just wandering what peoples avaerage millage is for one tank of fuel! It would be interesting to see if there is much difference between the normaly RS6 and the RS6 +.

Think that is a hard one to answer. Will depend on how you drive it. I went from Birmingham to Bolton last night with another lad in the car to pick up two lads leaving the khan fight birthday party and sitting at 75mph all the way there. Left there at 3am which meant i had an hour to get back to Birmingham for the hatton fight. Motorway was empty so was doing average 120mph and at some points over 160mph  ( did you know the rs changes gear at about 160 ?!!? ) I used the full tank. Guess i did about 170 miles in total. The car has 20 miles range left on the display. Also mine is AMD tunned.

Same as Steve H.

Mattysupra, what does your car change gear to at 160mph; hyperdrive?

I think so. All i know is that the lads said how quick does it go and as i have never opened her up before on a motorway i said lets find out! It came up to about 160 at high revs and then it changed into another gear! I thought at first that this car wont do much over 165 ish but when it changed into another gear and the revs dropped back down low, we all was a bit stunned at the fact it found another a gear and started to pull like f**k again!

So what sort of top end do these cars do anyway? I wanted to find out last night but i dont think i should be trying with 4 big lads in the car in the wet and high winds!

Mine is bog standard: speed limiter on, stock exhaust, stock ECU, etc.

I get 300-330 miles out of a tank in ordinary everyday use, at which time it's bleating at me that it wants to be fed: a bit of motorway, a bit around town, and mostly A and B roads.
I figure a little over 20mpg, fuel pumped divided by distance covered; the on-board computer claims 21.7mpg.

If I'm standing on the loud pedal, it'll shift into 5th at an indicated 150mph.

is the 21.7mpg the adverage on the computer? never got my adverage above 16mpg.

Around town average 200/25 per tank, longer runs maybe get 300. FYI i think the cars' average mpg display is way out.

this is what to expect when you are in "sport" and nail it. it will only change up at the red-line which means over 150mph in 5th....

21.7mpg is the rolling average according to the on-board computer.
As I said (and assuming the odometer is accurate), I'm actually doing a shade over 20mpg; looks like I'm not trying as hard as everyone else.

RS6 (MRC'd with econodrive) is not just for Xmas

sound like a lot of folks on this thread need to be trying harder. if you are over 20mpg you are a granny in disguise!
