Town drivers (London)

Hi,

What's the average mpg return for those who use their car in town?

Ouch! it's just starting to dawn on me the cost of running this beast. Would the mpg improve by a couple of mile if chipped?

I suppose we could always go for an LPG conversion...
;-) (sorry, I'm just being silly!)

I agree with Fen, if you chip it you will want to use it - IMHO.

Probably true and also the cost of chipping would no doubt take years to pay for in any savings made - but then the fun would be priceless

Hire a tanker, drive to mainland europe, fill the tanker, drive back and stick it at the top of the drive for your own personal supply for a year at a discount price.

Like a booze crooze with a difference, with much better savings.

Would be great if you could do it.

Dont think of the RS6 in terms of pence per mile, think of it as pence per smile!

Use a scooter around town - speedbumps, congestion, congestion charge, parking during the week, and rip away at the weekend to get away from London. Combined mileage? About 45 MPG.
