well sadly im selling the rs6 it just doesnt get used and when i do im just sitting in london traffic which is sutch a waste of a car and waste of fuel.

where are the best places to sell, ive put a add on this site http://www.rs246.com/index.php?name=PNp ... ic&t=60229
but where else will i get possible buyers without attracting all the muppets ?? ive also added to pistonheads ?

any advise will be great

Not sure but seems you can't give them away - a broker contact of mine seems to think so anyway, I asked him that very question today!

Shame it isn't a saloon, I am in the market for a black or grey one.

Off to see one this weekend so I will have the upper hand if they aren't selling!

I always find autotrader gets the most serious and quickest response to adverts. Good luck mate, looks like a nice car and seems well priced.

Autotrader or Ebay, possibly Exchange and Mart. When I was looking for mine I put it on findsyou.com but it has only just started so I bought it through Autotrader.

Yes Steve, looking to change in May/June depending on R8 situation. Otherwise it's Porsche I'm afraid.

I'm just so nervous about putting these cars on Autotrader/ebay. Especially after what very nearly happened with the RS4 I had, I'd prefer to take the hit and go via a broker or some sort of sale service, failing that PX.

What almost happened with the RS4? Point me to a link if I have missed something.

Nasty individual, went round looking at RS4 B5's for sale privately and knocking the owners out to steal the car. He did about 3 in herts/oxon area. Tried me but I got away with it!

R8 or Porker ? ..... if it was a GT3 RS in Black with Orange wheels I'd say no contest .... in fact, my dream car at the moment.

Kidding. I'd be the first man ever to kill himself whilst still in the showroom. They are a complete handful by all accounts.

Looking at 997 Turbo and GT3, waiting to get time to have a proper go in each. R8 V10, no one knows when that's coming, dealer said today however that there are murmurings afoot that the new RS6 isn't THAT far away...

Had service today and DRC leak free and hunkydory even got 4 mm on my original tyres and 50% on discs. However the bill was higher than I expected at £577 then again, it always is.

I used pistonheads and sold within two days.

For me it's got to be the turbo every time ... I pass a new 997 turbo in black pretty much every other day ... looks & sounds awesome ... hard not to get too carried away with options on the online configurator though ... purely fantasy for me of course.

Any reason why your selling up Bob ... fancy a change?, end of warranty?, etc. Although many months away mine will be 5 years old in December and I'm already wondering what to do as the cost of the Audi warrenty rockets thereafter.

Actually got 2.5 years left on the warranty including the additional 2 I bought with the car, but I do want to sell it with plenty to run. Otherwise the only reason to sell is to have a change whilst I still can. Paid the mortgage off so one year of madness before kids ruin everything. The turbo will most likely be the one I have if I go Porker, I really wish the V10 R8 was iminent, I'd love to stay with Audi.

December Rich? Perfect timing, the clever boffins over on RS6.com are claiming that this is when we'll see the new RS6 with 580bhp in showrooms. Another tempting prospect and less money too. I've obviously surfed various Porsche forums and have been quite surprised how many owners admit to being called a w@anker by other road users on a daily basis. Something that only ever happends to me at home.
