Goodyear Eagle F1

Post by Wolverine » Tue Mar 06, 2007 8:18 pm

Anyone here running the new Goodyear Eagle F1 GSD3 ??

Recently I believe these came top in an Autoexpress tyre review, beating both the Pirelli Rosso and Michelin PS2. Best tyre in wet weather too.

Also, alot cheaper .... have seen them for less than £150 a tyre.

Recent poll run over on the S4 forum polled the F1 far far ahead of any other suggested tyre. My personal favorite... for a few years now. Amazing they are still doing so well as an all rounder.

This is what i dont get ... I hear great reviews about them, and they are far chepaer than the main two alternatives, but then how come most of the RS6 owners here are not using them ?

They're the best tyres I've run on the S4, but not sure how relevant this is to RS6 usage...

If you are anywhere near banbury - a company called Just Tyres are selling 235/35/19's for 160 fitted!! By far the best deal I have come across...

RS6 uses 255/35 on the 19s, but worth giving those guys a call to see how the price for those pans out.

Run them ( 255/35/19's ) here in the states and they are great; alot quieter than the Pirelli's and smoother over the bumps even at 40 psi. Cost around $ 250 USD per.
