I thought it was about time I posted a couple of pictures of my RS6 that I’ve now had for a couple of months.

It has replaced my much loved Skyline However, it was time to move on & I’ve always fancied an RS6 ;-)

Although, I originally wanted the saloon I could not find one at the time that had the spec I was looking for.
As I specially wanted one with black leather & carbon trim in mugello blue.
Amway, I found this one that had every thing I wanted at Weybridge Vehicle Consultants – Audi specialists.
They were incredibly helpful & did every thing I asked to be done before I took delivery witch included
replacing all the disks & pads.
Plus a week after ownership I returned the car back to there service department because I wasn’t happy
with the suspension! They supplied me with a loan car & after a couple of weeks the car was retuned with
two new shocks & a replacement accumulator at no cost to me.
The replacement shocks & accumulator were done by Walton – on -Thames Audi.
So I’m very happy with the service I’ve received from them.

So far I’m very pleased with the RS6 although not as powerful as my Skyline it is a lot more practical
& comfortable when it comes to sitting in traffic on the M25 & has a lot more toys to play with. ;-)
I’m planning on having it re-mapped soon & changing the exhaust system to the Milltek system plus
I’m just about to fit a DVD player to one of the AUX inputs of the TV so I can watch films when stuck in traffic.

Cheers,

I'm more interested in the Skyline to be honest, engine bay looks stunning :)
What sort of power was it pushing out?

Hi Golfather,

The last time I had it on the dyno about a year ago just after a full engine rebuild,
run in & re-mapped it made 565bhp & 440 Ibs/ft at 1.4 bar boost witch is good grin factor! :D

In all honesty I wish I could have kept the Skyline as weekend hack / track car but it was an
expensive car just to have sitting around…… Ho Hum & all of that. :boohoo:

Cheers,

I still have a soft spot for Skylines mate, the R34 sends a shiver down my spine whenever I see one!
I friend of mine has one in deep purple, and the front end just shouts "get out-a-ma way" :D
Plus a bulletproof engine and stupid power figures, its the perfect weekend car. I'd love to have one.

RS6 isn't too bad though to be honest once its tuned, mines up to 500bhp with just a remap, a zorst should give you around 520.
Had a run in with a couple of Porsche T's yesterday and a tuned Nissan 300ZX, they were quite impressed to say the least :D
Enjoy !

Welcome to the site Rob,

Nice looking skyline you got (or should I say had) there ... tastefully modded as well. Been down to Trax at Silverstone the last couple of years and there were some monstrous skylines/supras/scoobies/evo's ... some monstrously fast and powerful (which I approve of) and others monstrous with Frankensteinesque presentation with way over the top bodykits/graphics/etc ... your skyline looks spot on. Personally I would have been very tempted to keep the skyline as a weekend play car rather than trade it in but when needs must etc. Quite a few owners on here have weekend cars (Elise's, TVR's, 911 TT's) which seems to provide the right balance of thrills.

As for the 6 I assure you it's a different kettle of fish ... very subtle looks wise compared to the skyline but not too lacking performance wise. Defo like the carbon fibre trim and if I were to go back in time it would definetely be on my shopping list. Keep us updated with how you get on.

Welcome to the forum.

Rich.

Rich, if your really after Carbon trim, I saw on german ebay yesterday a very rare full carbon kit out of an RS6 for only a couple of hundred quid or so!? http://cgi.ebay.de/Audi-A6-S6-RS6-Carbo ... dZViewItem

That skyline is very nice... Skyline my favourite of the Eastern imports

Nice looking car there Rob, don't want to remind you by saying how nice the Skyline was because it's never nice to loose a loved car.
So I'll say the colour looked gay and looked like a chav's car. Where the RS6 looks FANTASTIC ;) Just wait for the Remap.

(Never was a good liar ;) )

How's the Tv in motion switch working? Does it interfere with the sat nav?

Catch you soon.

Still a little job i'll do, once i get the time.
