mmm...I was told similar at last service (47K) - oil weep from gearbox sump ....its under extended warranty to they picked up, replaced and brought it back to me the other week no probs...not sure if its just the local dealer taking the mick and after some warranty work, but didnt query/check it myself as there was no charge involved...wonder if its a common problem?

I have'nt had an oil leak from there (oil filter housing had a very small leak that was only visible in the engine bay but was fixed), but when I asked for gearbox oil change I was advised that the sump had rusted with a very tiny un-noticeable leak so was repaired and gearbox oild changed under warranty FOC as corrosion claim.
