30 minutes to vote for me!

I've been lucky enough to be shortlisted to the last five of the business entrepreneur of the year type thing for 2006.

Part of this is also a public vote where people can choose their favourites (or their friends, or people who have bribed them.)

I've just been to the event to give my presentation for the judging panel and all the other attendees were joking how they had all their friends getting all their friends to vote, forums and mailing lists they were on etc.

I've just been really good and got my close friends and family to vote.

So, given that I know some of you on here either personally or at least from chatting on the forum, you've got 30 minutes left to top up my votes!

The link is here:

You're voting for Edwin (well, hopefully )

Given that they've apparently already had over 9000 votes it's probably way too late for me to compete. I'm obviously far too moralistic for my own good, but they said they considered it in the spirit of entrepreneuerialism for people to garner as many votes as possible!!!

Feel free to forward it to anyone else...friends, colleagues, your home PC...it all counts!

Obviously you cannot influence the full award voting, which will be announced by Gordon Brown in an hour.

cheers

Ed

Voted for you mate.

Looking at you website made me chuckle - your a self-confessed media whore ,an 'It-Girl'.

Interesting business venture - although product placement in video games has been going on for years im surprised the middle man hasnt cottoned on earlier.

Me too, very well done and good luck. Nice idea too, used to work with Codemasters on TOCA, they were hard work!

My 1st book is in the shops today too, so let's all give each other a "well done".

Have I missed the point, or did the 30 mins start at 11.30, end 12.00.

If so, why have people voted 12.00 onwards?

Always worth a punt, I once submitted my vote for Michelle Macmanus after the deadline and it got through.... I thought she was the best group in Pop Idol.

LOL! Awesome Bob, how did you get that gig? I've done a couple of game development books a few years back, still get the odd $100 royalty cheque in the post.

BTW the Rebecca lass won the people's choice, but cheers for the votes anyway fellas.

I got lucky with the publisher - right place, etc etc. Beats advertising, and dealing with Eidos! I wrote it in a weekend. Too bad with the award, congrats all the same.

So where did you work to deal with Codies and Eidos, out of interest?
