How many points does an RS driver have on their licence?

At our RS6 meet the other day I was surprised at how many RS6 drivers there were with no points on their driving licence. Given the power of these cars I would have expected a relationship to have developed with high power, lots of points. It seems however that we RS6 drivers are careful and clean in the eyes of the law.
Just a bit of fun really...

I wont vote as I am not an RS driver... but I have owned my fair share of potentially license loosing cars & I have 0 points.
Its all about being sensible. I think people who get caught speeding mostly are people who are either wreckless, or are so disintereted in their driving - they are simply not paying attention to the road and creep over the speed limit and dont notice the camera - while an RS driver may be over the limit, but concentrated on the road ahead and spots the camera in plenty time.

I've got six of the bastards.
84 and 86 on the motorway I think. Have to say I'm amazed at the number of you with "nil points". 70mph in our cars feels like were going backwards. How do you manage it? I now have to go everywhere at the speed limit because I'm paranoid that every vectra I see is unmarked. I now hate motorways.

I have been very lucky, but at the same time dont do much motorway driving during business hours which is when I think police activity is most active. Dont want to tempt fate though as said... her majesty's highway has been very good to me as I have tried to be to her.

Banned for 28 days last November - 115 mph on the M23! Unmarked silver Mitsubishi Evo! The underhand ba5tards.

I was going done the M23/A23 last week and passed a silver '04' plate evo and looked over to see the driver - it was plod.
Went passed him at a snails pace then a red polo came flying past and was nicked about a mile down the road.
BEWARE SILVER EVO

I did hear they had evos now in certain countys. Also Accord Type R's... watch out for them. There was a story over on 5'o of some bloke getting done by a couple cops in a black accord - driver with a baseball cap on & all, but it was plod, some story of them using touring car motors in them too... so mighty rapid.
Down here in Devon there are many ST Mondeos that are Mr Plod... I have seen VR6's, even bloomin range rovers. Gawd help those that speed.

anybody with no points should not believe that it is their skill keeping them there. I made that mistake and then sudenly 3 x 3pts in 9 months just thru mobile cameras on new roads.
Apart from the 'being aware' their is also 'how much do you drive on new roads and bad counties for cameras', and then a wholeheap of 'good luck' as well.
down to 6 pts now and trying to be sensible!

Nil Points... Too close for comfort though on Monday
I have spotted some bizarre unmarked cars lately, as you say above, things like Accord Type R's with HHUUUGGEE whale tale spoilers on the back and blacked out windows, and lots of Skodas also. Very Cunning!

the skodas are because the police did a huge exercise to determine the best car for all UK police forces for motorway and area cars and to their own disappointment the skoda one hence loads of skodas!
makes a crap job even worse!!

Not quite topic but the other day I saw a B7 RS4 with blue lights in the grill and flashing (flip flop) headlights, so beware! Don't think it was standard Plod however. There are also RS6s so equiped that you may see around London.

No points - ever! But some credit is due to RoadPilot and remote garage doors!
However, I did have couple of endorsements on my licence (like what we used to get before this new-fangled points system was introduced), but that was back in the 1970s, when I was at Uni and drove a Cortina GT.

Martin,.... I think its special branch that use audi's, have also read that sas have used audi's, but they would not bother with the blue lights!!!
Can't see RS4's being used as an every day traffic plod car they woudl be too expensive. Our local nick has loads of Skoda Octavia's, silver and dark grey...be warned through worcestershire!
I work next to their car park.
