Does anyone know if there is an updated cd for the sat nav as 2003 is so out of date nowadays. Also........ Is it possible to change the nav+ for the newer type MMI? (I saw an MMI unit for sale for £550)
Cheers
Dave

The answer to both your questions is 'yes'.
New Nav CDs area available from
Navshop.
I swapped my old CD unit for the newer RNS-E without any significant problem.

Thanks for that... I'm currently stuff offshore on a platform so I'm unable to look at the type of CD required. On the navshop it's showning various travelpilot types. ie;
Travelpilot (8)
Travelpilot DX (28)
Travelpilot E (12)
Travelpilot EX (1)
VDO Dayton/CARiN
Do you know which one I require
Cheers

If you've got the CD version, you need to look at the Travelpilot DX listings on Navshop

Definitely the 'DX' version for the systems fitted in the RS6.

bigger/better screen; can insert a couple of memory cards for playing mp3's; its a DVD based navigation system instead of CD so there is much more data on the disc, provides better info/detail etc. Probably other stuff but as I don't have one I'm not sure. Should start you off anyway... You didn't buy your car from Damon by any chance did you???
More details of your new motor!!?? Its a must on this site, and photo's of your new pride and joy

my mugello blue RS6 has the upgrade to RNE-S and its a massive difference to Bluetooth/Sat Nav and TV. CD version is really poor imho and DVD version is well worth the pennies.
If your Mugello Blue car doesnt work out then mine is for sale now sitting it the garage all polished up and ready
