Hi,

I have found a problem on my friends rs6 suspension to be a worn osr shocker, it is knocking quite bad.

I have got the job of replacing the unit with a new genuine part.
Any one got any ideas of how the hydrolic system is set up when the new shocker is fitted & any tips on the whole job if it is tricky.

Regards James

LLLOOOAAADDDDSSS of info on here... do a search on DRC and you should get more than enough threads.

In brief the Dynamic Ride Control's weakness is the rear shox, most people on here have had to have them replaced, but as the DRC opposing corners are connected (your friends failed OSR connected to NSF), you have to have the hydraulics vacuumed out of the system, new pre-charged 16bar central reservoir and a rather complex process of filling the system with fresh juice without trapping any air.

I would reccommend he looks on here, as you may get bored to tears passing the info to him!
