Tyre Fitters - North Herts

Post by GaryC » Sun Jan 08, 2006 9:42 pm

I need some new tyres in the next couple of weeks - can anyone recommend any good tyre fitters in the North Herts area?

Kwik-Fit have an 'offer' on at the moment, buy 2 or more tyres and get the VAT back. A set of four Michelin Pilot Sport SP2's works at at £922 fully fitted, and a set of P-Zero Rossos at £724. This seems like a fair enough price, and I may end up taking the car there if I can't find anywhere else and just pray they don't butcher my wheels.

Cheers,

Gary.

Gary

I get mine done in Northampton Tyres (best fitters I have ever come across) most of the time even though I am based in Welwyn however have had tyres changed at Fairway Tyres in Hatfield before on the M5 and they were pretty good.

Good luck and take a pick of the rims as it is there best bet.

Thanks Shimmy.

Do you have a web site or contact details for Northampton Tyres? Can't seem to locate them on Yell.

Cheers,

Gary.

Actually don't worry about the details. I've done some phoning round and am getting four Michelin SP2's fitted at the weekend for £911 all inclusive.

Gary,
I had the RS6 and more recently my porsche done by a brilliant mobile service, they come to your office/home/whatever.
Not so much as a fingerprint on the wheels :jump_clap:
Don't have the contact details here now but if you want to drop me an email I'll forward their details.

Cheers,
