Gents,

A bit of a boring question but does anybody know if you can get a fitted boot mat for the RS6 saloon? When I spoke to the lad in the Audi parts department he was unable to tell me one way or another? Anybody got a part number I could quote - don't want to ruin the carpet with crud off my golf trolley wheels.

Thanks,

Rich.

Haven't got a saloon, but do know that the liner from Cannon Rubber can be cut down to size and has multiple profiles moulded in.

Proceed with caution, as we've found with pushchairs that the wheels can leave marks up the sides so have not cut ours down.

Audi produce a fitted tray for the A6 estate boot but I am not sure if they do one for the saloon.

Been into audi today sorting a few things out. Apparently the A6 Saloon boot liners will fit okay. I don't have part numbers and haven't negotiated as yet, but the prices I've been quoted are as follows ....

Flexible Boot Liner - £26.00 (inc VAT)
Rigid Boot Liner - £90.01 (inc VAT)

I've also been quoted for £45.50 for a luggage net although these seem to be only £34.60 from VAGParts.com

I was also thinking of getting a pair of new alloys to replace a couple that have a few small scratches on and then keeping the old ones (fitted with tyres) as spares should I get puncture etc. I don't think this plan will happen though as a replacement alloy on its own is £589.16 inc VAT   .

Refurb the alloys with Wicked Wheels they will get them like new for approx. £50 a corner.

Parts have a mark up of 20-30% so its worth mentioning the VAGparts prices to the dealership.

Have a chat to a Skoda or Seat dealership about the luggage mat, they are generally the same ones at half the price.

I have just been in to Chester Audi for a replacement nearside lower grill...£37!!!! for a little plastic grill....ridiculous.

Sure buying and running an RS6 is not cheap, but it doesn't mean money is no object and we are happy to pay stupid prices for bits of moulded plastic! Except I ordered it
